Operations and activities days 2026 in Malung/Sälen
On 25-26 March, EnviroProcess gathered 65 participants from all over the country for two inspiring days in Malung/Sälen, focusing on knowledge exchange, study visits and industry dialogue.
Participants from Piteå in the north to Lund in the south met to take part in lectures, discussions and exchanges of experience. The engagement during the days clearly showed the value of bringing the industry together to share knowledge and discuss both current issues and future challenges.
During the days, we took part in lectures, study visits and valuable knowledge exchanges.
The conversations during the breaks and the engagement clearly show the power of meeting and sharing experiences.
We also had the opportunity to visit three plants where EnviroProcess has been involved and delivered. The study visits gave us insight into three different types of plants:
new construction, renovation and continuous preventive maintenance, and a modern spa.
We visited Malung-Sälen's swimming pool, a new facility where thoughtful technology choices, energy-efficient operation and modern solutions show how the swimming centre of the future can be built.
At Experium, we saw a water park that has been in operation since 2009 and which, through continuous maintenance and technical updates, continues to deliver high quality over time.
We also visited SkiStar Lodge Hundfjället, where a modern spa has been built in an existing environment with a focus on guest experience, smart solutions and sustainable operations.
Special thanks to Linda Örneblad, Malung-Sälen Municipality, who with commitment and clarity shared experiences from the entire journey, from procurement to how to create a vibrant facility that is used and appreciated by an entire municipality.
We also learnt important perspectives from both construction and sustainability:
