Over the past six weeks, Adéla Peiskerová has become a valued part of EnviroProcess, both through her work and through the energy she has brought to our team.
From the very beginning, Adéla has shown genuine curiosity, a strong willingness to learn, and an impressive drive to develop. During her time with us, she has worked closely with colleagues across the company, taken part in valuable discussions, and visited our facilities to gain a deeper understanding of our work in practice.
Adéla's research project focuses on laying the foundation to develop an intelligent, load-responsive control system for swimming pool water treatment. The aim is to reduce energy and chemical consumption without compromising water quality or hygiene standards.
Public swimming facilities are often both energy- and resource-intensive. Today, many water treatment systems are operated using fixed setpoints and are designed to handle worst-case conditions. This means that actual usage, such as the number of visitors, activity levels, and time of day is not always taken into account in real-time operation.
As a result, systems may consume more energy than necessary, rely on excessive chemical dosing, and lead to higher operational costs. Through this project, the goal is to explore how smarter, data-driven operation can contribute to more efficient and adaptive water treatment.
“Even small adjustments in operation strategies can have a surprisingly large impact on both energy use and performance,” - Adéla explains.”says Adéla.
Her experience so far has been both practical and insightful. Early in the project, she had the opportunity to visit one of our facilities in Gothenburg, gaining valuable perspective by seeing the systems in operation and understanding their real-world application.
Beyond the project itself, Adéla has also brought many great conversations, running sessions, and moments of laughter, all of which have made her time with us even more appreciated.
What has stood out most is how quickly she has understood our way of working. In just six weeks, she has gained valuable insight into our operations and shown both confidence and professionalism when presenting her thoughts and ideas to our CEO and Technical Manager.
Her ability to contribute with fresh perspectives, ask relevant questions, and take part in meaningful discussions about how we can continue to develop and improve has been truly appreciated.
We are very grateful to have had Adéla with us during this project and wish her all the best in her continued journey.
