HUS Helsinki University Hospital Meilahti Area is Finland's largest hospital complex near Helsinki city centre.

Meilahti central sterile services department (CSSD) was renovated @ 2023. A part of the renovation was new Pure Water system with 2 x 1500 l/h permeate flow rate.
Meilahti CSSD pure water uses machines consist of ten pcs instrument washers, two pcs high-capacity washers and nine autoclaves. Six of the autoclaves are fed by two pure steam generators and three has their own pure steam generator.


Modern pure water system benefit are: fed & produce pure water to CSSD machines on demand basic, automatic loops water exchange when usage is low and remote access to help out customer in trouble shooting.

The choice of Envirofalk GmbH to supply pure water skids was a good example of good co-operation in between sister companies.

Content of the delivery

  • Delivery of pure water system with 2 x 1500 l/h and three PP-IR welded loops with total length of approximately 400 metres.
  • Siemens S7 logic-controlled system with remote access possibility
  • Pure water skids with logic build by EnviroFalk GmbH
