Colouring test - optimised functional control of basin and mixing

EnviroProcess offers professional colouring tests to ensure that your pond's hydraulic flow is optimal for effective water treatment. By performing colouration tests, you can ensure that your pond water is circulating correctly and maintaining the highest possible water quality.

The importance of hydraulic flow

The hydraulic flow of the basin is crucial for the efficiency of the water treatment. To check this, a colouring test should be performed. The aim is to achieve complete colouration within 15 minutes. The colouring test should be carried out when the basin is commissioned and then repeated every five years to ensure continuous optimal performance.

Performance of the colouring test

The colouring test includes all the necessary chemicals for both dechlorination and colouring. When performing the test, the water is coloured yellow-green, which makes the currents in the basin clearly visible. The dosage of the concentrated colouring agent should be 2-5 litres per 100 m³ of basin water, which complies with the standard according to SS-EN 15288. EnviroProcess carefully documents the test with video footage and compiles the results in a written report to ensure complete and transparent follow-up.

"It is also important that the operator is aware of the circulation system of the basin and how the treated water is distributed in the basin. A colouring test can be done to check this."
